The National Honor Society (NHS)
and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are the nation's premier organizations recognizing outstanding middle level and high school students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Four main purposes have guided chapters of NHS from the beginning: "To create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools."
Congratulations to the following SECME students who will be inducted into NHS on February 18th! This invitation to join the National Honor Society comes in recognition of their excellent record of academics and personal accountability at Seminole Ridge Community High School. The SRCHS faculty is very proud of their accomplishments, and the SECME school coordinator specifically wishes to praise them publicly and recognize their achievement.
Family and friends are welcome to witness the induction into NHS on Thursday, February 18, 2010 by attending our Honors Reception and Induction Ceremony in the school auditorium from 6 PM to 8 PM.
