The Atlas V rocket will launch NASA's SDO spacecraft to study the sun and its dynamic behavior. SDO is designed to help us understand the Sun's influence on Earth and Near-Earth space by studying the solar atmosphere on small scales of space and time and in many wavelengths simultaneously.


February 2010 - we celebrate the 400th anniversary of Galileo's first telescopic view of Jupiter and its 4 largest moons!
