GreEngineers at FAU

FAU is a proud participant of National Engineers Week. Every February the College of Engineering and Computer Science hosts various student and community outreach activities in an effort to increase awareness about the profession of engineering and to honor the achievements of engineers. In 2010 the E Week theme is “GreEngineering” and the anticipated events will be sponsored by the Engineering Student Council, including companies promoting “green initiatives” with displays and giveaways. FAU Alumnus and NASA Astronaut Steve Swanson spoke about his latest space mission, STS-119 to the International Space Station.

After lunch, the Seminole SECME students showcased their VEX robot playing “Clean Sweep” during a robotic demonstration.
