The sixth annual Math Day at the Boca Raton Campus of Florida Atlantic University was held on Saturday, April 10, 2010, and this was the first year Seminole Ridge High School had students exhibiting their mathematical talents. Congratulations to our competitors: the mighty mathletes seniors Shannon Patelskyand Michael Martin!
The event is open to all mathematics faculty and interested students of high schools in Palm Beach, Broward, Martin, and Dade counties for individual and team competitions, keynote address and presentations on employment opportunities in mathematics, and math trivia. Cash of up tp $1000 for the winners, and other prizes were awarded.
